The SEC is the only conference that can be embarrassed IMO. It isn't embarrassing for an underdog to lose, and South Carolina and Alabama will both be favored.

Blowouts are embarrasing doesnt matter how bad team is or how great competition is.

But yeah if they keep it reasonably close it isn't. And like you said if SEC loses it would be way worse.

5 Games to open the season and the SEC gets all of them. Now tell me how this is good for college football? A strong showing gives the SEC yet again another jump start in the eyes of the voters. The opponents are a joke at that. Georiga at Clemson is the only one that appears non favorable to the SEC teams.
