The guys who were some of the hottest hitters at the end of ST were sitting on the bench. Our regulars were not looking good at the end there. But that is how baseball is as it is like a roller coaster. Just glad Hamels was up to the challenge because I think we all knew that is what it was going to take to win this game.

They mentioned on the radio how long it had been since the Rangers won such a game. It was in July of 1993 with Kenny Rogers on the mound and the one hit was a HR by Palmeiro.
