Davis looked spent.

I get it.

He's ingraciating himself with AD.

But, he needed to take over in the 4th.

Yep. By the 4th quarter, the Clips were anticipating him throwing it into AD. Even when Lebron got the ball to him, the defense was always there and forced him to either pass it back out, or take a tough shot. He chose the tough shot a little too often as well.

Spot on. I think Lebron and AD will probably play more minutes early in the season because the Lakers have something like 9 new players. So they'll want to get everyone used to playing together.

But yeah, if Lebron has to play 36 a night for them to win games, they're going to be in trouble.

Agree about Caruso. He gives a little different look and looks to be better than Bradley at this point.

KCP frustrates the hell out of me. In the last pre-season game, he scored 25 points. Last night? 0 points in 27 minutes.

It's feast of famine with him. You can live with that from a bench player, but not when it seems like it's more famine than feast.

and especially not when your 3rd scoring option is hurt.

Davis and LeBron are going to score- but Kuzma's 16-20 points a game is so critical.

They got a big scoring effort out of Green last night, but other than that no one really played well out of the support players.

If Green can be your 4th scorer thats solid- if he is your third, that leads to some depth issues.

But, it made the win that much more DELICIOUS.

Lakers were the Ferrari with no gas, the Clippers are a fucking ugly, green military hummer.

We aren't exotic. But, we can run over folks to get where we are going.

They can look pretty while going absolutely nowhere.

It's interesting. They are building a new arena, but they are building it in the very city that the Lakers established themselves in (Inglewood).

So it seems likely that, even in the new building, the ratio won't change much, if at all.

They should have moved to Anaheim back when they had the chance.

its interesting to see the Clippers bring Lou and Harrell off the bench even though they played more of starters minutes.

I wonder if that would be a good thing for the Lakers to do with Kuzma--- have his minutes more staggered so when LeBron and or Davis are out- he gets more of his shots coming off the bench.

Kuzma would play during crunch time, but those periods at the end of the 1st qtr, etc. when LeBron and or Davis are resting is when i think Kuzma shoudl definitely be on the court and fresh.

If I was the Lakers management i would seriously consider bringing him off the bench.

It was funny. I as listening to a talk show out here and they were talking about where the Clippers might have a parade if they win the title.

One of them said...Seattle.

This was on the station that broadcasts the Clippers games. lol

In all seriousness, the Clippers are part of their own problem at this point. They must have the worst PR department in all of sports.

As I said, that was the Clippers flagship station and they are always complaining that they can't get interviews with anyone from the Clippers organization.

He was playing well.

I thought Webber made a good point about that. Marv mentioned that Gentry had him on the bench even though he had been playing well.

Webber said that sometimes it's about how well the group on the floor is playing (and they were playing well). Lonzo was back in during ot.
