Dwight Howard yes but Kobe definitely not. We all know that if Kobe trusts his teammates he's more than willing to give up the rock, especially now when he's expected to be a little less than what he's been physically. I feel like the Lakers played all-out with heart and they gained a lot of respect from Kobe. This is a very good sign on all levels.

I predicted the Clippers by 15 but I thought it was a Clippers home game. Once I figured out it was a Lakers home game, I knew it would be a good one

what a bunch of bullshit....the Clips are predicted to win the Pacific and some pundits even have him coming out of the WC. Lakers are pegged as a 12th place finish....and you sit there to use the excuse that Clips were playing at home to predict they'd win by 15 pts??

The Lakers may very well finish in 12th if Kobe doesn't return until Christmas. But anyway let's see how they look tmr against GSW and Friday vs the SAS

Kobe must have LOVED how our team kept pushing, hustling, fighting against the mighty Clips....can't imagine how this team will look when he gets back. When these guys have established roles and gain more confidence, starting with this early but HUGE win vs. the DEFENDING PACIFIC DIVISION Clips and projected to come out of the WC, this Lakers team will be competitive and have many players on 1-year contracts looking to show the rest of the league.

No surprise to see the bench mob produce like they did tonight as they did it for the last 4 exhibition games. It won't matter who starts it looks like per D'Antoni's rotation/use of 11 players....might even see Nash tomorrow night vs. GS the few minutes he put in tonight.

Laughin at the ESPN "experts" and Lakers haters even if it's one friggin game....LOL

your prediction already busted as the worst they could do is go 1-3 but they won't 'cause this group will pick each other up, no agendas, lots at stake individually, and have been building chemistry since playing together at summer pick-up games. Yeah, we'll see what happens rest of this week.

it's only one game but this team showed in exhibition a no-die attitude, hustle, athletic, and picking up for each other. When they learn to play more cohesively on the D front, especially guarding vs. pick n rolls, they'll make last years' team look like a JV team - with Dwight.

Very early yet to get excited, but one hell of a start and Henry looked good and Farmar played well. I thought the Clippers may have let those to flagarants get under their skin - they are going to have to learn to play smarter and get rid of the chip on their shoulders. They also need to realize that this city belongs to the Lakers and they will always be our doormat

Chris Paul basically said the same thing in the summer. Said they will only go as far as Blake takes them. This team will be gone in round 1 or 2 if Blake doesn't improve significantly
