My initial reaction when he stayed home last week was that the injury wasn't as serious as led to believe and he was about to get shipped, for what it's worth...

Lombardi is being very patient. I really don't blame him. I think he wants to see how his team does in the next couple of games before he makes a move. I have to believe the Stars wanted more than just a puck rushing defenseman from the Kings or they would have made a deal for Neal. The Kings have Voinov, Teubert, Hickey & Forbert in the system. Voinov is the puck rushing defenseman the Stars or any team would covet. He's a good skater with a booming shot.

I wouldn't want to trade my future/picks & roster player (that's what it will take) away for a concussed 31yr old. Lombardi is patient..more like tedious. but not stupid.
