Rights and License is where you include all monies that the school is paid from conferences, soda pops, shoes, etc

2018 was the first year Nebraska was paid a full share

1. Texas $88,768,322
2. Michigan $87,126,997
3. Wisconsin $86,890,67
4. Nebraska $84,405,982
5. Ohio State $83,715,147

11 schools from B1G make more than second place Oklahoma from the big 12

Oklahoma $55,734,977

Nebraska makes $40,000,000 more than six schools in the Big 12. The only school in the Big 12 that makes more than Nebraska is Texas. But the LHN is now an albatross around their neck.

Alabama led the SEC

Alabama $71,557,447

Alabama would be in 8th place in the B1G

How did Nebraska compare against old Big 12 mates that also left the Big 12

B1G Nebraska $84,405,982
SEC Texas A&M $63,557,801
SEC Missouri $54,872,147
PAC 12 Colorado $39,982,547

Colorado actually screwed themselves. They make less than all 10 schoolds in the Big 12.

I am waiting for the research dollars to be updated.

Nebraska's move to the B1G is probably the smartest financial move ever made by the University.

Won't be long Oklahoma and Kansas will be trying to join the Big 10 West.

Kansas only makes more money than Rutgers in the B1G, for now. Only because Rutgers is not paid a full share.

IIRC.......Donghorn Network contract is through 2025.

They ain't giving that up, so the rest of the Big 12 teams will be sucking Bevo tit for at least another 6 years.

Remember when the donghorn fans were telling us how stupid Nebraska (et al) were for giving up their 3rd tier rights?

"You NEED tejas"

20 year contract

First year 2010. Paid $10,800,000
It ends after 2029.

Since it has not panned out, the LHN is a guaranteed 3% increase each year.

Texas will not make more than $15,000,000 for the year until 2021.

Total value of the contract will be $295,000,000.

in 2029, texas will be paid a little over $19,000,000

I have said this many times, no athletic director would have turned down that offer. If they would have, they would have been fired.

Every other school, not in the B1G and not in the SEC, in America wishes they had that deal.

I remember all sorts of dumb shit said by Texas fans, especially one that is on these forums.

No Southern Cal?

Private schools are not subject to Freedom of Information Act requests or provide dollar amounts since they get public money from the state governments.

USC
Stanford
Northwesterm
Baylor
TCU
almost One half of the ACC
Vanderbilt

None of them have to release information.
