no reason the Caps should sign Holtby this offseason. We are an aging team as it is, and even if we werent, Samsonov just makes more sense.

Caps’ goalie scouts are on point. Holt by will find a job somewhere else and they’ll be four different Caps goalies backstopping NHL teams as the starter.

Yeah, I think Holtby's most likely destinations (should he go to UFA) are LA, San Jose or Detroit.

San Jose needs to have a fire sale first.

Maybe Chicago if they let both their guys go to UFA as well.
