It appears that punch has resulted in a lifetime ban...

In other disturbing hockey officiating experiences…. My son line’d a u11 c game saturday. The ref was a 12 year old girl who is a great player (rep A). It was her first game as ref so pregame she skated to both benches and let the coaches know and asked for some patience from them.

One of them proceeded to call her a “fuckin bitch” during the game :L :ohwell:

My son and the other linesman tried to convince the ref to throw the coach out of the game/arena but she preferred to just do a post game report. She didnt want to escalate things because the fuckface looked like he just left one of the freedumb convoys :noidea:

That's a wise decision by the ref :thumb:

My recent ref story:

A kid my son played with in PeeWee (and I coached) is the newest ref at the HS level here in town. Decent kid, but he and I had some run-ins when he played for me and my son did when my son played against him later on, so I wasn't sure how it would go when he drew our playoff game. Other team poked my goalie after a whistle and the shoves started. He was in front of our bench getting ready for the faceoff when I said "Nate, you know I want my goalies protected."

He said "What? did they hit him?" I said yes, late. He said he missed it but he'd keep his eye out for it. Next whistle he skated up to me and said "Hey, by the way, your goalie talks a lot of shit. I woulda punched if I was playing him. Just a thought" and he skated off laughing.

We got a GI call a little later.

I mean, is this list supposed to be top 10 NHL players this season or top 10 NHL players currently in the NHL? Either way, Jack Campbell should not be there. Shesterkin being there looks to be top 10 this season which makes me then wonder why Gaudreau is not on the list and why Crosby is (no offense to Sid, he's still a top player in this league).

I know a list we all can agree on....
Austin Mathews is #1 in eating crossbars.
Ovechkin is #1 in shooting too much.
Crosby is #1 in secondary assists.
McDavid is #1 in stat padding.

did you just solve world peace?

Don't forget that like 40% of his goals are empty netters.

Totally proveable!
