I think 20 games is not unreasonable for his past behavior. this is unhinged and if not for the refs being there he most likely would have really lost it. this guy needs someone to talk to him and settle him. he is a potential hall of fame player but this behavior is ridiculous.

Marchand reminds me of Dale Hunter.

I think the only guy the Penguins have that ever drops the gloves in ZAR and he shouldn’t because I don’t think he’s ever won a fight

On top of ZAR I think Boyle has but twice this season but yet again that is not what he does.

When you look at the players that, just looking at their height and weight, could be deemed heavy weights are Boyle, Zahorna and Carter. Not the bastion of tough guys.

And it doesn't help you have a defensive core, ie...Marcus Pettersson who is built like Manute Bol or Shawn Bradley.

But talking about what Marchand did, Crosby did have an opportunity to cheap shot or face wash Marchand and didn't. I truly think it was more restraint on Crosby so that he doesn't; a: get suspended and b: get injured in an ensuing melee. W/O him and Malkin now would be bad for this team.

The rest of the players on the ice were Rust, Guentzel, Letang and Doumolin. Not one of them scare an opposing team with their toughness. Hell Guentzel looks like he could break in two if hit the wrong way.

Just think if the Penguins still had HOF GMJR today they would be making a reactionary move like one of these two:

-trade for large defensemen who gets the shit kicked out of him by Tom Wilson. And that trade gets ctrl-z'ed.
-trade for an actual tough guy, in turn give up a Quality bottom 6 center and a 1st round pick. Just to trade him to the Knights that same season for the player who wants to break the record for the most teams played.
