I think the other thing to consider is there should be plenty of firepower up front, thus we need defensemen who can actually defend. I've seen enough Oilers games to know that Nurse isn't exactly great in his own end.

This is going way back to the swamp days, but there was a poster (funny enough his handle was Amnesiac) and we were talking about how surprising it was that Letang was named captain of the World Junior hockey team for Canada in whatever year that was. Well, it's like we called Amnesiac's mother a whore, he just flew off the handle calling us haters of Quebec based players etc. and how dare we question the selection of Letang as captain.
