Is 10G, 28P really worth a 2nd? Wouldn’t seem like it to me, but I could be wrong.

Yeah it could be fringe but also relative to the fact he was in Arizona where it seems players like Taylor Hall and Kessel couldn’t score either.
Also this had cap implications. Helped one team get below the cap and the other safely above the lower limit.
Now if he is considered the top center in Ottawa that’s bad, very bad for a team.

Yeah, some people saying maybe it’s a placeholder until they can LTIR Steen and allows him into camp.

Considering the Leafs don’t have to face any American teams, the refs might actually call shit the right way this season and if that’s the case I am very excited to be playing the Habs and Sens 400 times this season.
