Hagelin - Speed/Defense with no hands
Sprong - Some offensive upside but clueless in his own end.
Sheary - Tends to have his body in the right position offensively to earn top 6 minutes periodically but his stick and hands disagree with his body 99.999999% of the time.

-Hagelin has been great - speed is top notch, great on the PK, really like the guy. He has a funny Volvo commercial on the radio at present.
-Sprong will be in Hershey and we'll see if he makes it back to the NHL at some point. With OV, Vrana, and Hagelin as sure shot LWs and 3 guys in the bottom 6 who can play LW, not much room in the near future.
-Sheary - For the price, certainly has more upside than your typical $750K player, so seems like a minimal risk signing good or bad.

I will give you Hagelin is fun to watch except when he has to score a goal.
Sheary trust me after one week you will wonder why you stated "has more upside than your typical $750k player". Even with 2 Stanley cups that experience won't translate. He is useless as a bottom 6 forward and in a top 6 role, it is mind-numbing watching a player who had so many opportunities with Crosby and still didn't have his stick on the ice.

I'm hearing the Oilers and Canucks are starting with a back-to-back in Vancouver. I'm just happy that the Flames aren't starting the season against Edmonton because that's a guaranteed loss lol.
