Will Lafreniere be playing with Crosby or Malkin next year?

If Panarin kept flying over the last bit of the regular season he may likely have gotten a first place vote or two. He led the league in even strength points, 5 up on Drai (in two fewer games) and 9 up on third place Mackinnon.

But where it ended up, and given that the Rangers weren’t in a playoff spot when play stopped, I think it’s fair.

I did read something last week that it's likely that the Flames will get that 3rd round pick from the Oilers based on the pro-rating of Neal's goal total to a full 82 game season.

/So I guess that's a plus
