If the NBA has suspended play I have no idea how the NHL justifies not doing the same. Guessing we’ve seen the last of the regular season tonight.

Interesting stat mentioned on the LAK broadcast of the Sens game

currently, the top 5 goal scorers this season are from 5 different countries.

apparently this happened once before but I missed the year. Lindros and Jagr were 2 of the 5

even more interesting, this year none of the 5 countries is Canada

Where is the suspension chart when we need it? Coronavirus is a worldwide superstar that means at most a 2 minute minor.

I thought 95-96 but that would have been Lemieux, Jagr, Mogilny, Bondra and Leclair

NOTE: Even this wasn't true since technically Mogilny and Bondra at the time were both from the USSR even though Bondra was Ukrainian.

I may have misheard. The talking heads were throwing out names trying to guess and they never did a nice clean recap for us old timers

If Bondra is considered Ukraine and different from Bure then 97-98 looks good too (Bondra, Selanne, Bure, LeClair, Palffy). Also no Canadians.

Great catch...that was the first of two years in a row with no Canadians in the top 5.
