Forward Kyle Palmieri signed a five-year, $23.25 million contract with the New Jersey Devils on Thursday. The contract has an average annual value of $4.65 million.
Palmieri, a restricted free agent, led the Devils with 57 points and tied for the lead with 30 goals. Both totals were NHL career-bests.
The Devils had acquired Palmieri from the Anaheim Ducks for a second-round pick in the 2015 NHL Draft and a third-round pick in 2016 on June 29, 2015.
In six seasons Palmieri has 73 goals and 146 points in 280 games with the Ducks and Devils.
Good signing by the Devils as this also buys up three years of UFA time.
Love the Palmieri signing for the Devils. I was anticipating a bridge contract closer to $6 per, locking him up for 5 and under $5 million per is phenomenal.
C. All of the above...Gee, and I thought you were coming here to gloat about the Luke Gazdic signing Nasty.
All of them?Curious about which former teammate is the source.
I think like a fine. What the heck are 'non criminal charges'?
Is that like a misdemeanor?
Good you've got your priorities straight!I'm back! What did I miss? Did Garth Snow get fired!?
J/K sorta....changed jobs and needed to circumvent the system to get the SportsHoopla page going.
Good you've got your priorities straight!
When you start a new job you should pick someone out and beat them up. That way you will get the respect of others and wont be someone's bitch.Of course!! I have been here about three weeks though, so there were other circumventions that had priority.
