On a lighter note (you'll see what I did there), I guess white men CAN jump.
Though, technically, he's both black and white.
I prefer ebony and ivory. Black and white makes me think cookie.

Sorry, lumberjack followed by a love tap from the wee one. Better?
Even if it's "just a slap", it's retaliation for a perfectly clean check and it was followed by this:I hope that "lumberjack" doesn't get paid by the tree because he'll still be waiting on that first paycheck. Even the "lumberjack" swing here is really just a slap.

Isn't this the kind of shit we're trying to get rid of?

I'd rather a dive on a legit penalty than the ref miss it then have the offending player score and force a game 7.Embellishment and diving like on the soccer pitch? You're damn right BBB, no place for that garbage in hockey.
I dislike it wholesale - there was plenty of it during the Carlyle days and I had no problem saying it annoyed me when the Leafs did it.I agree that there should not be any retaliation for clean hits, unfortunately that thinking very rarely exists in today's NHL. For example. if one of the Sedin boys were to get hit in that manner, you know that somebody on the Canucks will be going after the player who hit Daniel or Henrik. That said, you can tell that Kadri knows there is going to be a response from the Flames simply by judging his reaction after the hit. I don't approve of what Josh Jooris did, but I doubt that slash did any real damage (I don't believe Kadri missed a shift, somebody correct me if I'm wrong). Just my opinion, but I don't think Kadri has very much respect amongst his peers in the NHL.
