There are plenty of NHL awards and MVP of the playoffs is one of the best. But how about a new award for the toughest performance of the playoffs, a player fighting through adversity or injuries. We could call it the Warrior award, or the Patty Smyth trophy.

Well, it certainly took Hockey Canada long enough to clean house...It's kinda sad though that it took all their big sponsors severing ties for anything to happen. The only accountability is to keeping the coffers stuffed, I guess.
