Do the refs suck as much as last season? I'm watching my first game this season and the Sabres just got a phantom penalty from what I saw.

game 1 for the canucks was turned on it's head by a missed call.
Evander Kane broke Hughes' nose with a high stick, and while Hughes was bleeding on the ice, the Oilers scored.
Was 3-0 Canucks at the time, with OIlers showing no life whatsoever.

Essentially, they couldn't get the person who made the original allegation to respond and go on record, so they closed it.

the one thing I noticed was that that original post was a brand new account with only that post.
there were a bunch of other women came forward to attest to his creepiness, but none that I saw to corroborate anything underage/illegal

This franchise is such a disaster. I guess I'm fairweather at this point but I barely even bother watching. Coach, GM, ownership all suck. I hated the Fitz hire, he's an extension of Shero who failed here and he brought in Ruff when there were 4 or 5 top coaches available that year. None of it matters because ownership doesn't give a shit. It's unfortunate because I'm losing my love for the sport as a result.
