1332 games, 1068 points. Darn good but his highest point total was 81. Don’t recall him being a finalist for any trophies but I could have forgotten something.

71st all time in scoring, names in that group include Fleury, H Sedin, Taylor, Giroux, Daddy Tkachuk, Whitney, Mullen, Staal, Verbeek.

Tough HoF call.
Damphousse 1378 games, 1205 points, 90 points multiple times

Sorry Joe, no HOF

If Corey Perry can get in then so can little Jim.

From those Sharks teams, I think Jumbo is the only guy that gets in. Marleau is borderline but I don’t think the games played is enough

No way Thornton gets in, he didn't even make the NHL Top 100 list several years ago...

:bolt:

I think you’ll hear talk of him being HOF worthy while emotions are up but when they calm back down in a few years, they talk will die out. I think he’s a very good player but not quite HOF great

That's fair. But I would have him on my roster any day. Even now, still producing at a very respectable rate.

As the article points out, Florida also had no tax when the Panthers were terrible.

They really should have started the Finals by now. I have too much time on my hands.

So, PLD. The Kings say they wont buy him out, but just in case they reconsider, I wonder:

If the Finals end with a Game 6 (played in EDM starting at 8 pm EDT) on June 21, what is the buyout status for PLD?

AFAIK, the buyout window starts 48 hours after the Finals ends
PLD turns 26 on June 24
The buyout cost is 1/3 for a 25 year old, and 2/3 for a 26 year old

So if Game 6 ends at 11pm EDT on June 21, could the Kings buy him out at 11pm on June 23 when he is still 25 years old?

Probably irrelevant since the Panthers are going to sweep the Oilers, but I always liked chaos theory

If the Leafs are legit on trying to move Marner this is probably their best option.

He has to want to go there, think that’s a tough sell.

Three way trade though, maybe where Buffalo gets Necas?
