It's also kind of funny that Detroit eliminated the Flyers by getting to OT,
And then two minutes later the Flyers eliminated the Wings (with collateral damage) by allowing the empty net goal.

The Jackets called up like 12 members of the Monsters (including both goalies at one point), but the remaining players still managed to drag themselves into the AHL playoffs. We just assigned everyone we called up that didn't get injured back to them.

it is shocking that they haven't built around those two in all these years. Cap Management with that management group is about as good as trump following a gag order
