That doesn't sound good at all.

That's a guy who needs a little help on the emotional/mental side of things. Hope they take care of that as well. Body parts will heal.

Yeah, hopefully that forest line is just a "in the moment" thing. Not a Bolts fan by any stretch, but he's a fine player and seems to be a pretty good guy, hope he heals quickly.

Exactly, that jumped out at me. Hoping it was more a symptom of that generation who feel the need to share every fleeting thought with the world. Us boomers might think it for a split second then move on.

hockey has some crazy ass schedules sometimes.

I get Monday was a phase in day but Detroit gets FIVE days off on top of the all star break?

10 days between games. That's wild.

chance to get healthy at least.

Canucks had 10 between before and after the all star break as well.

Vitek Vanecek is not an NHL goaltender, watching him give away game after game is enraging. He was responsible for all 4 goals against last night. He's a rebound machine, constantly loses track of the puck, no lateral movement, drops to the ground as soon as the other team enters the zone, he's horrendous. If the Devils have any real hope of getting into the playoffs they need to make a trade immediately.

Go get Gibson and Henrique from Anaheim and call it a day.

I believe the goalie you faced last night is available as well. He also has one less year remaining on his current contract than Gibby.

Yep it is very strange, the last 25 days the Penguins played 5 games.

You would think every team should be at 50 games but then you have teams at least 4 less games played, like Citrus :)

As a Senators fan this year I feel your pain. Nothing more demoralizing than watching your goalie let in back breaking goals every night.

Some decent structure with the coaching change has helped us but bad goaltending is a killer.

Bill Guerin named GM for the States 2026 Olympic hockey team - Maybe they figure he'll have a lot of spare time on his hands as he's done a pretty terrible job with the Wild (not to mention all the reports that he's a pretty horrible person).

Slightly in his defense, he inherited 2 of the worst grandfathered in long term contracts ever. Nobody was pulling off miracles there.

That's fair, there's just too many things in Guerin's past of pretty bad behavior (hitting a prospect in the neck with his stick and then cross-checking him while he was down on the ice when Guerin was with the Stars) and then implicated in covering up a sexual assault when he was was with the Penguins (he was subsequently cleared). It seems like he's being rewarded for some questionable behavior :noidea:

Edit: Forgot to mention this one...

Bill Guerin, the Minnesota Wild’s president of hockey operations and general manager, has been the focus of an investigation following a human resources complaint by an employee who alleged verbal abuse in the workplace, five team and league sources have confirmed to The Athletic.”

“The employee who filed the complaint, according to team sources, is Andrew Heydt, the Wild’s director of team operations and player relations.”
