Edmonton is the new Pittsburgh apparently.

Refs have tongues firmly up their asses.

MAF has now tied Patty Wah for second all-time wins. And yeah, I know the pointless arguments about ties and whatever. Just take a moment to celebrate what a ridiculous career he's had.

And he can still do shit like this.

Never a dull moment watching Flower. Congrats to him.

I wanted to also add a sad smiley for the fact that we did not keep him.

I can't really blame Pens management there. His style usually has a sharp and dramatic downfall.

He's just a freak and managed to sustain it.

I’d take pretty much all of those Leafs over the Jets players though except for Rielly (although Morrissey was playing worse than Rielly up until last year) and Hellebuyck (although the long term big money goalie contracts almost always come back to bite you).

Also doesn’t mean much when two of the big ticket Leaf contracts expire next year as do two of the Jets’ smaller cap hits in Ehlers & Vilardi.

Both cores also have dick all to show for their years together so congrats we all suck :D

Winnipeg's only regulation loss in the past 16 games (13-1-2) was to San Jose.

To be fair, the Weegar deal is looking pretty good. Kadri is a overpay and the points he puts up won't quite match the dollars, but he's playing quite well these days after a slow start. Florida having a pretty good season is likely providing plenty of cover for the fact that Matthew Tkachuk only has 8 goals on the campaign (only 2 more than Huby).

Since we're discussing Treliving contracts, after this season, Blake Coleman has two years left on his contract at 4.9 million per season. Conroy should try to see what kind of package Coleman can fetch as his value has never been higher.
