So you would imagine if it was some sort of gambling thing, the league would have dealt with it.

If it was substance abuse, then there is the league assistance program. A few people reported that Perry was shitfaced in the Arena when they were here, but it was already reported he was on team "Suspension" at that point so it had to be something else that happened prior or since and not some incident "In Columbus" in a bubble.

If it were a criminal act, the police would be involved.

Not a whole lot after those things it could be.

Not exactly sure - Kyle didn't really say much except that he did try to quash the Bedard's mom rumors as false, hurtful and disgusting to the people involved. You could see he's taking this quite personally, but didn't elaborate any further to what actually happened (likely due to some pending legal proceedings would be my guess).

Just to clarify one thing I may have mis-stated above, Davidson said they found out about whatever happened while the team was in Columbus. The incident may not have actually happened in Columbus. Again, he wasn't very forthcoming during this presser.
