How long until MLS usurps the NHL?

NHL's average team values are higher than any of the last 3 teams to sell (Pens @ $900 mil, Preds @ $880 mil, Sens @ $950 mil including CT Centre). How many teams would actually sell today on their own above $1 billion? Maybe the original 6, the Kings, the Flyers...?

Probably Vegas too.

I tangentially know somebody who had a windfall and invested in the Cleveland Indians three years ago. His stake in the investment showed the value of the team to be 1.05 billion at that time if you want a reference to cheap teams in other leagues.

Weird wording of the tweet, but I assume he simply means that players have told him they didn't now their info was forwarded to league if they opened an account at one of the league's prime marketing partners. And if that's the case, you have to wonder what it says in the CBA about it. If the NHL did something the players weren't aware of against the CBA, this could get interesting.

Second, why not just sit down with players and explain it?

Hmmm, this hit doesn't look much different from the hit that Rasmus Andersson delivered to Laine. Rasmus got 4 games, Clifton gets 2 games.

It's almost like you're trying to say there's no consistency dash

I guess you could argue that Clifton missed most of the game as his hit happened late in period 1 as opposed to Rasmus' hit at the end of the game thus it's like three games for Clifton versus four games for Rasmus.

The optics make it look like the NHL is just going back to standard operating procedure, though.
