You want Zegras too? He got benched got the entire third and overtime last night. He’s got one assist in six games so far.

Gibson and Zegras for Bjorkstrand Dell and a 1st.

Is this going to be a three team trade including the Kraken?

plenty of seats available for Canucks Blues Friday night (pink is verified resale) ... for locals if you have BCAA, you can get in the door with upper bowl corners for $56

that coyotes one lol

I am surprised Edmonton is at 98% but calgary at 90 is a real shock

I don't know how good of a draw the Jets are even though they are a Canadian team and they used to be Smythe Division rivals. I think inflation is hurting peoples wallets and the Saddledome is falling apart. The concourse is narrow and the actual live game experience isn't that great,

Just to add to the above, a spanky new stadium once the novelty wears off won't help attendance all that much. The Riders only had a shade over 24,000 for a game against the Argos (top team in the league) and they were fighting for their playoff lives. It was a beautiful weather day as well. The Riders have been pretty bad the last two years though and people are tired of the losing.

reads like an entry from @Comeds diary :noidea:
I never gave anyone gonorrhea. Scabies, syphilis, impetigo, genital warts, and Zika virus maybe. Maybe. But not gonorrhea.
This is how damaging rumors start.

(Side note - during the 90s wouldn't it have been fun to call STDs the Zima virus?)

16. The baseball playoffs are also the reason you won’t see the start of the NHL season moved back before Canadian Thanksgiving, as it used to be. The first week of October is wall-to-wall baseball so there’s not a fit.

You know, instead of being afraid of MLB and NFL, why not take them on? Or if you think people prefer viewing other sports to the NHL, how about trying to fix your product? I guess that would mean actually doing some work though, right Gary?

Here's a freebie for Gary (not that he reads this board). The NHL needs to bring in a challenge system much like other sports have to review obvious missed calls by officials. A coach gets to throw a challenge flag once per game for the officials to review and deem whether or not they missed a penalty and if they did, penalize the offending player.

Exhibit A was last night in the Rangers vs. Flames game - Jimmy Vesey nailed Adam Ruzicka from behind right in the numbers into the boards. It was a clear boarding penalty and in my mind, worthy of 5 and a game. Of course, no penalty was called.

You wonder why fans are tuning out the NHL and get frustrated watching officials miss clear fouls committed on the ice? Having a challenge sytem would certainly help alleviate some of the fan disgruntlement.
