As first reported by Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman, the Blue Jackets are acquiring defenseman Ivan Provorov as part of a three-team deal with the Philadelphia Flyers and Los Angeles Kings.

The full details are still trickling in, but Friedman adds that Kings netminder Cal Petersen is expected to be traded to the Flyers as part of the deal, along with defenseman Sean Walker. There are also expected to be salary retained as part of this deal, though it is unclear at the current moment which players will have retention on their contracts and by which parties. It’s a trade that seems to have a lot of moving parts.

The Athletic’s Aaron Portzline reports that the 22nd overall pick is part of this trade, coming from Columbus. ESPN’s Kevin Weekes reports that the pick is headed to the Flyers. NorthStar Bets’ Chris Johnston reports that prospect Helge Grans and a second-round pick are headed from Los Angeles to the Flyers as part of the deal.
