I find it more likely that the NHL (or, maybe even more likely, the PA) start banning teams from having guys do warmups in these jerseys because the backlash the players are getting for not wanting to participate.

And as fucked as it is, there’s even greater “inclusion” issues at play here - there’s a reason NBA teams don’t have their guys wearing rainbow-colored gear on the benches and during shoot around on their Pride Nights despite them wearing different shirts for things like Black History Month and Latino Nights where every team puts “Los” before their nicknames on their jerseys.

I know it's just semantics, but it makes me irrationally annoyed when the refs call completely the wrong penalty.

And I don't mean that they call a penalty when they shouldn't, but when they call a clear trip or a punch in the face something like hooking or interference.

Like, how can it be interference when you hit a guy who is carrying the puck? Or a hook when his stick is stuck in the guy's skate?

Yeah, there's no way a 6'5"/212lb goaltender - for example, I don't know, a Finnish guy with a bunch of Ks in his name - would ever give up 7 on these tiny nets.

During their 4 game win streak 22GF's 5 GA's.
