Five points out of a playoff spot in the weakest conference; I know, let's make a adolescent sex joke!

Can't wait until they raise a banner about it.

If I had to determine a distinct kicking motion to save my life, I obviously couldn't do it.

Of note, called no goal on the ice, so this was seen as conclusively NOT a kicking motion enough to overturn.

the only argument I can see for it standing was that the "kicking motion" did not make contact at the skate.

I did not say it was a good argument.

Don't ask me, I'm still fuming about the Coleman call from last year's series against the Oil.

They asked Dave Jackson their rules "expert" during the broadcast and he said the exact point of contact on the foot or leg is irrelevant.

Given that I always he was a shit ref though,* I'm not sure I believe him.

*Nice guy though. Cool story bro time: met him in a hotel lounge in Nashville when he was still active and in town to do a preds game. Chatted about hockey for 20 minutes or so. Very personable guy, so I didn't tell him I thought he was a shit ref.

If the purpose of the rule is to stop players from wildly swinging their knife feet, that makes perfect sense.

But we're talking about NHL rules enforcement here.

the fact that this was not in that original message makes me wonder if @sabresfaninthesouth should be part of this place anymore..... shoulda been #1
I also had to leave out licking, nut punching, skate stomping, crotch grabbing, turtling and probably a few others.

I blame @dash for limiting me to three.

Perry is not a hair puller. I will not stand for this.
