Larry didnt even move lol wow

Larry to me even seemed to let up a little and make sure not to make head contact. I actually met Larry once at a hotel in Calgary, very nice guy and I shook his hand (huge hands by the way lol).

Czech article. But this the relevant part:
Unbelievable, what he can still do at almost 51 years old... Jaromír Jágr is still a key player for Kladno. Not only does he write records in the historical tables as the oldest scorer in the Czech extra league, he also accomplished another excellent feat in Vary. With his hit, he equaled Wayne Gretzky in the ranking of the best gunners in the world, which includes hits in elite world and European competitions as well as for the national team. Both legends have 1098 goals to their credit. And it is probably only a matter of time before the Czech one becomes independent in the lead.

Jar Jar jas reached 1098 career professional goals. Equaling Gretz' WHA/NHL totals.

Hey Drury, did ya really think kratzov and trocheck was gonna fill the loss of all who left the team last year , a team that was 2 games away from a cup final, dummy?

Window of opportunity and in the NHL does not last very long

Panarin , must be called out. He is a great player who needs to be more selfish. He cannot continue to rely on others . If this tool would take over , lots of pressure would be taken off of Zibs and kreids.

Gallant wake the F up!

Maybe he shouldn't be the one saying it, but I'm not sure he's wrong. I think the NHL still has a problem with personalities. But at least the NHL doesn't force unwilling people into the spotlight as bad as some other leagues do.

The only league that does a worse job of promoting their players than the NHL is the CFL. Also, it doesn't help that as awesome of a player Connor McDavid is, he has very little charisma and although I don't have an issue with gambling on sports, I do think the sheer number of sports betting ads that are shown on Canadian tv (as well as podcasts) are way over the top.

Me too. I'm fine with people being able to bet on sports but I don't like how in bed the leagues are with it.

Other leagues force players to do media stuff when it's obvious they have issues with it. I know you want your stars to be in the spotlight and available but social anxiety can be a real thing.

The in-between period interviews are so canned and awful that I have to believe that the players are coached to say that "we gotta keep battling and get pucks deep and take advantage of turnovers".

Hockey players are usually funny guys who don't take themselves too seriously. Let them be that.

But not Evander Kane. Fuck that guy.

The other issue is the fact most of the better personalities barely speak English and probably the best personality is Russian. Doesn’t help either.
