So yesterday, a lot of NHL content creators and podcasts suddenly had all their stuff taken down or blocked for copyright infringement by the NHL. Big podcasts like the Hockey Guy.

Seems that it wasn't "intentional"

So, either the NHL wanted to crack down and got slammed by the entire fanbase and backtracked. OR they decided to give AI a try to save actual content moderation human salary dollars and it blew up in their face.

Either way, very on brand for the league.

I once flew to Edmonton willfully.

Granted I was flying Flair non-stop to Vancouver and got rerouted but still.

Friend of mine flew Flair to Halifax from TO. They canceled his flight the morning of and routed him, his wife and 2 & 4 year old through Calgary lol
