Come on Kev, give them a little credit. One is a Hall of Famer, and the other has been around and played with two likely HOF QBs.

That's the question, I think we all know the injury was a problem last year but it wasn't all of the problem. This year Robert gets a chance to do all the off season work so we'll see if he progresses.

Sports... my real problem with it going into this year is this

1. He doesnt think he was in any way a part of the problems of last year. At least thats the way he sounds coming off with comments like It wasnt that bad

2. the fan base and more importantly the new coach seems to be fostering that belief.

Have to agree with Evans from this piece.. the truly great QBs look at the good games and say.. I still could have done better. And they look at their bad games and say I WILL do better. Never.. well it wasnt really that bad.

I hope like hell this kid proves to be worth what we gave up for him. I fear he will fall way short.

Man, this poor kid is probably on his way to Sean Taylor status...but if he never wins a superbowl, he always be talked about as a FAIL. Huge pressure

I will one up that.. if he doesnt win a Super Bowl where he is one of the main reasons we won it. If he pulls a Dilfer and we win a Super Bowl based on our defense or running game, there will always be the question of if he was worth the trade.

If he would grow an ounce of humility I think the perception of fans like me who do wonder if he is all hype would likely change. I would seriously have thought last year would have humbled im a little, but again I find myself wondering.

If nothing else, some day he is going to make one hell of a politician though. You heard it here first.... RG3 as a presidential candidate from Texas in 2028

First, I disagree with you about the fan base. Living here in th DC area, I talk to fans all the time. The vast majority have concerns over RG3s actions and performance of last year. Shark, you are way off base here.

Second, what has Gruden ever done to make you say that he is fostering the belief that it wasn't that bad? All I've seen him say is what happened last year is over with and we are moving forward, which is exactly what he should be saying. Why get dragged into that pissing contest? You nor I have no idea how Gruden has critiqued RG3 from last year because he is smart enough not to announce that in the press.

This spot on NFL network is a time filler. Sapp may be a HOFer, but he is a baffoon who make very little sense most of the time. Heath isn't much better. I'm not sure of your motivation for continuing to search these opinions out and offer them other than to combat Dad who seems to be the one you hold up to as representing the majority of the fan base. I agree with Kevin, all you are doing at this point is :ss:

Agree. Also - none of them really owe us anything in terms of publicly doing anything except staying out of trouble. We have no idea what goes on among the coaches and players at Redskins Park. Beyond that I don't really care as long as we see progress for RG3 and the rest of team. Also - if somehow the Skins won a SB & RG3 was not a stellar QB - so what! Honestly - what Redskins fan (knowing the history of this team for the last 20+ years) would really care how they won a SB? Was Wilson the main reason the Seahawks won their SB last season? Not really. Give me a break.

Shark - I enjoy your posts & you appear to be a very good fan. However - you appear to have this huge bone to pick with RG3. Let it go already. Let's see how he does this season and then make judgements. This endless speculation is kind of a waste of team. These are exciting times for the Redskins - no need to place a huge downer on all of it.
