It is as simple as we play 1 week at a time using that week’s stats, right?

Seems incredibly easy to avoid 0s/inactives.

A player like Derrick Henry is simply dropped after he gets injured.

Yeah - just want to make sure everyone is aware while drafting - i.e. deciding to live with an "empty" slot for a matchup is a very expensive strategy. Guys missed one week because of COVID, for example, so you wouldn't want to drop them, and just leaving them in can be tempting, especially at TE or something.

Remember that we're not using current weeks, the way FF usually does, so whether a player is active or not that week won't jump out - except that if they'll have a zero for that week. If they have a zero they were almost certainly inactive or on a bye (with a couple of exceptions). If you have a zero in your active roster we'll check, and if that player was on a bye or inactive that week it will be a zero for your whole lineup for that week.

there's actually trades allowed in this league, so draft is only piece of the puzzle

At least you dont have to kick yourself much for taking slot 6 instead of 5.

Yes.

Or you can take the full zero, which sometimes might be the play...? It's just brutal in the tiebreaker.

true... i had mixon and Deebo kind of tied in my "rankings"... slightly liked Mixon more... but... that was ever so slightly...

Im Reading about folks having a strategy. Im 100% winging this. No strategy is gonna hold true. Guess thats my strategy every draft and league. I have a few things i wanna do yearly.but always just play it as it is. Im never rigid with any of it,
Take what comes. This year i ended up taking wrs earlier and tight ends. They kept falling to me. Thats totally against my philosophy.
