I'm guessing that is why he's still around...

24 H, 17 BB, 37 SO...

Unless he's trying to get Nolan Ryan's old Advil contract....
He's probably more likely to need some kind of prostate medication than pain medication.

I have heard more than once that he is around for one main reason. That being, that in these latter stages of his career, that he has turned into a great clubhouse guy. In fact, he is thought of and used just as much as a coach to the younger Rockies as he is a player.

It is just that much more on the job training for him, as he continues to transition from player to coach or manager.

The Indians are really pissed that he is still coaching the younger Rockies.
