Unger out hurts, but they've been dealing with that for a few weeks now, so it's nothing new. Okung has not been playing at a pro bowl level this year though, so we'll see how Bailey does. Might not be that big of a drop off.

All things considered, the offensive line played really well today.

Yea I dont think they could have played much better aside from a few procedural penalties which always will happen with this team. But only 1 sack allowed is pretty good. Would nice for them both to get back next week to get some work in before playoff time

update

Left tackle Russell Okung is expected to play Sunday after missing last week's game with a bruised lung, but center Max Unger's status remains uncertain. Unger has missed the last five games with a severe ankle sprain. He listed as questionable.

"Max made it through [practice Friday] and we'll see how that goes," Carroll said. "We'll take his situation one day at a time. Russell had a full week [of practice] and he's been cleared to play, so he's ready to go."

Carroll also said that cornerback Tharold Simon, who practiced Friday, has a chance to play Sunday. He listed as questionable.

Against the Rams, this hurts... We've had a helk of a time with that front 4 of the Rams regardless of who has been playing on our OL... Wilson will be running for his life again...

I'm hoping the OL looks as good as last week. I know the Rams front line is awesome, but the Cards front line is pretty dang good also and the OL held up great. Maybe a aberration? Could be, but maybe they are just finally clicking. I'm looking forward to finding out.

I have a strong feeling how this game is going to turn out. I will not post it because the jinx police will be coming for me.

I think the biggest key to only 1 sack last week was Russell getting the ball out in less than 2 seconds. He and the team has been working on that and their efforts showed great results against Az. Expect similar QB quick plays like last week. Our coaches are on it big time, especially the hated Cable and Bevell.

If that is the secret formula, what took them so long to discover it?

It really seems like Patrick Lewis has been developing more and more each chance he has gotten to play. I know its just a few games but its encouraging to see him handling the situation. Maybe he can be a future starter.

I'm always ok with younger guys getting playing time, but I'd rather they earn it instead of getting it because someone is hurt.
