I showed that some of the best Big XII offenses have completely fallen flat against decent defenses, and that the Big XII is scoring 24 points in their games against the SEC in the past 20 years. 4down then discussed the differences between Texas Tech's (someone that was said would average 40) performances against Ole Miss, one of the worst SEC teams, and the Big XII. I don't know how to be more general in this comparison?

LOL, I'm not an SEC guy, but that's really funny. Colt McCoy was one of your best QBs ever and was supposed to be leading an unbelievable offense. How'd that go against Bama? Oklahoma was supposed to have the best offense ever in 2008, having like 6 straight 60 point games going into the championship. How did it work against Florida? And while Clemson isn't SEC, I'd say they can speak on the advantage of defense the last 5 years. How'd Oklahoma and Mayfield fared against them? And since 2000, the Big XII has won 37% of their OOC games against the SEC, and are averaging 24.8 points per game. So I'd say their defenses are rated right on point.

More recently OU has given Saban his worst beatdown ever, TCU annihilated and embarrassed the SEC’s #1 scoring defense in Ole Miss a few years ago in their bowl game and made it look easy, Texas scored the most points on Ole Miss in Oxford ever (66pts), hell Aggy shattered every offensive record in the SEC their 1st year with their Big 12 offense and we all remember what OU did to the SEC’s #1 scoring offense last year. SEC defenses are a product of the shitty as fuck offenses. Half of the conference is ranked #85 through #109 in scoring offense right now. Half of the Big 12 teams would have top 15 defenses in the SEC.
