OK, I see a lot of people dogging WVUDAD for his opinions about WV ST - but he is right.
This team is fighting for what could be the biggest win this season - and our ST coverage gives up a 100 yd KO return? Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And then with a minute - Ball on the 25, run it? Shit - 3 throws to the end zone and then punt. I realize you don't want an interception - but come on.

Before the "Bitchfest" begins, call me a Pollyanna, Homer, or eternal optimist, but this team has played the #2 and #4 teams in the nation, and given us hope. Remember they were predicted to only win a total of 4 games, and some said only 2. For me, they have showed improvement, potential, and heart! I am proud of this team. Yes, I'm disappointed in the loss, but this team has given us hope for the future and made us believe in them. Just remember, there would be no disappointment in this loss if we hadn't seen that improvement, potential, and heart! The team has never given up, let us please not give up on the team.

Been on the main CFB board tonight Bat mised your thread.
I agree, we have BIG problems in areas but bottom line: we are 2-2, about what we figured and have went at it in two tough games with what COULD be #1 and #2 in the country.

Lets use the bye week wisely, hit the ice baths and beat the hell outta Kansas

2. Dana Holgorsen has West Virginia heading in the right direction: This was a disappointing loss for coach Dana Holgorsen and the Mountaineers, who moved the ball at will on Oklahoma in the first half. But after Ross’ 100-yard kickoff return at the end of the first half, West Virginia could never regain momentum nor get its offense back on track. Still, despite being 2-2, the Mountaineers have proven they have a quality squad, hanging tough with two teams that very well might end up in the inaugural College Football Playoff. Clint Trickett is the most improved quarterback in the Big 12 if not the country, and receivers Kevin White and Mario Alford are devastating weapons downfield. If the Mountaineers play the rest of the year the way they have this first month of the season, they will win a bunch of games. Meanwhile, Holgorsen, whose job status once seemed to be in jeopardy, should be firmly entrenched as the head coach of the future in Morgantown.

I missed the game due to work. I hate having to work every weekend. I recorded it so I'll try and watch this morning. I only saw one play last night and it was Kevin White's phantom facemask... I guess he's so strong that his pinky grazing the facemask is worthy of a penalty.

Wasn't the reason we lost the game but.....total :bullshit:. and DID kill our momentum that drive

Yes, others have said the same - and I agree totally. There were some bad calls, some dropped passes (again) and some bad throws. But none of these were the reason we lost, they were mearly contributors. The reason we lost, as with 'Bama, we were outmatched by a bigger, stronger, more physical offense. First halfs of both games - we hung tight and matched our opponents. But our D wore down by the 2nd half and their big backs just shredded our guys. Our lack of depth keeps our starters on the field and they just get tired.

Overall - I was impressed with WVU in most aspects of the game. These were 2 missed chances to make a statement about where our team this season against 2 of the best teams in the country. And even though we did not win either - I think people are impressed with where WVU is compared to last season. I know I am.

Earlier back in the summer I pondered if this team could win 6 and help coach keep his job. I know feel like anything less than 9 wins would be a disappointment. This team is good enough (barring key injuries and further non-injury suspensions) to win out. If anything happens to Trickett or White and all bets are off.

With the current coaching staff, it is hard to predict the season, five games into the 2012 season, WVU was ranked in the top ten, only to go on a year and a half spiral. We could see 8 more wins, we could see no more wins. My breath stopped Saturday when trickett got up really slow in the second half.

If we make it to a bowl, i think efore needs to go. If we don't make it to a bowl Holgersen needs to go with him in my opinion.

I see improvement in the team. they are still young for the most part, yes they have played a lot of games but they played to soon.

We need help on both lines bad, them good running backs are not getting the yards I thought they would.
