You are a little obsessed MB. I have never cared enough to check out what Michigan's rings look like, but then again, it's been a little while since Michigan has done anything worth a ring.

No, you wouldn't. By that logic, posting anything negative about your rival the year after a loss makes you look absolutely ridiculous. That's just silly. I'm not going to praise MSU or fail to mention their name for a year because they won a game 6 months ago.

Here's an example:

LSU and their #2 nationally rings. I'm not going to bring that up in a new thread out of no where if LSU happens to beat Alabama. I'll take my loss and generally move on.

However. If I'm talking shit with an LSU fan, such a thing is another story. Kind of like the "Tru Story Bro" thread where I posted the 21-0 image. I'm not just out of the blue going to make a thread about it. It's just the kind of stuff that's ammo for shit talking. The #2 nationally ring would be a great image to talk shit with in that thread, even if we just lost to LSU that same day.

Do you see the difference? In one case you look petty for bringing it up, and in the other case it's funny a good shit talking burn. I would have saved such a thing for when a Michigan St fan was being rowdy and then hit them with the little brother shit.

Especially if I was known for making thread after thread being obsessive about things in general.

yeah, could be more of a season's worth of highlights, but if they hadn't won the cotton bowl they probably wouldn't have rings just for having a good season.

Maybe people do it differently.

FSU got 3 rings for 1 season after they won the national championship in 2013.

Did Harris do a poll in 2014? I couldn't find one. They were part of the BCS in 2013, though. The last one on the Harris Interactive site was for 2013. ESPin, Yahoo, none of them list Harris in their CFB polls.
