The phrase “the time is now” is a relative one. It depends on the situation.

Let’s say you’re in a baseball game and it’s the bottom of the ninth and the commentator says “if the pitcher was ever gonna get a strikeout the time is now” that would be correct.

Let’s say it’s late in a football season and during the Wednesday press conference the coach says “the time is now for this team to get a win” he’d also be correct.

Let’s say it’s the offseason and when discussing a certain QB who’s gotten a 100 million dollar contract but hasn’t done shit a fan comments “the time is now for that guy to produce” that is also correct.

Intelligent people understand these different contexts. I’m not surprised they are lost on you.

the 49 ers are currently morons for paying Jimmy G big money. He has proven nothing, and cant stay healthy. THis may change, and he could be a franchise QB. He could prove his worth.

But as it stands right now on july 4 , 2019 the 49 ers are idiots, and 49er fans who currently think that was a good contract are currently idiots as well.
