As for Horcoff, he's being paid 5.5 mil per year through the 2014-2015 season. He's not going anywhere anytime soon.

Ive read the articles that he feels re-born playing with the kids and i think he'll have a better year this year

Wow...Ryan Whitney and Tom Gilbert are both making $4 million each for the next three seasons (and Gilbert for 1 more year after that).

The Oil might score 410, but they'll probably allow 460.

We can't blame the Oilers for Whitney's contract. The Pens gave it to him. They actually saved a bit of money when they traded Visnovsky to the Ducks for him I think.

The only thing I question about the captaincy to Horcoff is the way he played last year. If a player isn't playing well how can he possibly tell anyone else to pick up his game?
