Keeping in line with their now traditional approach of 1 elite name in their OOC schedule. Good stuff.

Current and future Home-Home series for the Buckeyes:

VT - '14-'15
OU - '16-'17
TCU - '18-'19
Texas - '20-'21
ND - '22-'23

I guess we had one on the books with for '18-'19 or something like that but it fell through due to scheduling complications related to the expanded conferences.

Can't wait. Now we REALLY have something to bitch at each other about. That is unless you're gonna put me on iggy.


I must admit, I will really miss playing Meatchicken, but OSU is close.

Maybe it would bug me more if ND had more success against us but let's be honest, even rr had a winning record vs ND. We've won what...6 of the last 8? If OSU dumped us, said it was for better competition and then played ND I would have felt slighted but ND leaving the series for OSU makes me shrug my shoulders. They're just playing yet another team they won't consistently beat and allows Michigan to play some cool teams down the road.

I think it might be a bit premature to go predicting how these games will turn out. In all likelihood, neither Brian Kelley nor Urban Meyer will be coaching the Irish or the Buckeyes, and the players who will play these games are currently in fifth grade. I'd say there are a few variables yet to be determined.

I don't think it was good for ND to announce this series with OSU the week of the Michigan game. It gives Michigan unnecessary bulletin board material. Announcing it a week later would have made more sense from a ND side IMO.
