I usually root for all BigTen teams not in ann arbor come bowl season. But we've talked before about how I've always liked WV. When Bob Huggins was at Akron U. went to his summer hoops camp. And I have some good friends back home with roots in WV.

It was easy for me to root for the Mountaineers. So because of that and the fact that fred is completely insane I hope you don't mind if I jump on the bandwagon for this game.

WV boy has no clue how outclassed he is this bowl season, does he? Guess there is the hope that the Gophers will have the bad attitude that comes with being in a far inferior bowl than they deserve? Thing is, I doubt Fleck in the kind of coach that promotes bad attitudes. My guess is WVU will show up revved up to play, but none of their fans will show, because who gives a sh1t about a 6-6 team that didn't beat anyone of note? UMn has a large alumni base in Zona and having recently beaten Wisconsin may have the fan base energized? My guess is the Gophers will dominate the crowd and WVU will start out strong and then fade away and get pummeled. I could be wrong, they might hang on for longer? But what from their season indicates they will???

Kinda surprised that goofy gopher hasn't been around yet.

Since Minnesota is superior to all other CFB programs thought for sure he'd be pimping his team up today.

I've not been motivated to come around because this is such a yawner. UMn's going to win this game something like 31-17, or 34-24 maybe?
Game could still be close come half time, but if that's the case, the 2nd half will be dominated by the Gophers. If the Gophers go into half time with a big lead, I suppose Fleck will try to dominate the TOP to keep scoring low. Not as bad as playing prevent defense, but it could allow WVU to do some catching up, but I still see the Gophers winning either way.

Could a BG/Illinois thing happen? I suppose it's possible, but when given time to prepare, Fleck has so far done well.
