Aside from sentimental reasons, I'd like to see it happen.

None of the ILBs or OLBs we have projected to get a load of snaps are particularly great in pass coverage. Wright has always been great at locking down TEs and I think he'd be really useful in passing situations. Additionally he'd be a hedge if Cody Barton doesn't prove capable of being an MLB starter. Plus, after Barton and Brooks we don't really have anyone with much experience starting at ILB.

Plus it wouldn't hurt having a vet in the linebacker room helping develop the younger guys.
