Think Charlotte wins at Summerslam, would have been nice to see Becky win but anything's better than Carmella.

I think they dropped the ball pretty bad with the Carmella push. They passed up on a chance for a great match between Lynch and Asuka. With some terrible booking and that Ellsworth angle that flopped imo.

The funny thing is Raw with the 3 hour format has much more room to experiment with segments like this one. They did do that bizzare Lashley interview series but they should do stuff like the Miz/Bryan every week.

Raw was great this week for once but they generally need more ways to fill the time.

I feel that since Raw's considered the more important show, they try to play it safe.....Smackdown on the other hand gets to experiment (maybe the 'we have less to lose' mentality), so they try things like the Fashion Police, Rusev Day, etc.

This is a good observation and I agree SD gets a test run on that type of material at times.

There have been some instances like Lesnar' s feuds with Orton and Punk where Raw used similar video packages (probably out of necessity because of Lesnars contract date limitation) and they were really effective. The NWA is building a whole YouTube series out of the concept and their build for the All In title match has been great. I think it should be used more often in the WWE.

Once SD is on Fox as the de facto A show, they will probably be more willing to experiment with the Raw format.

To be honest. Lets compare the booking between the top two matches per show.

You take a look at the whole Miz/Bryan angle and how it is bolstered 2 legacies ( Miz has upped his game during this angle). This match is little better build wise than Rousey/ Bliss

AJ/Joe is how a personal feud should be done. Imo This match is built better than Regins/Lesnar IV.

This is why I made the comment, because it is allowed to explore, Sd is better than Raw

When they had Miz running around several years ago doing the whole "Awesome" shit, I honestly saw him as little more than comedy relief and it boggled my mind he was made WWE Champion.

That was then.

This is now.

I think The Miz is the best heel in the WWE today! He has the ability to make you forget you are watching a scripted show and legitimately pisses you off.

That is what is badly missing in WWE. So few can bring that to the table.

The Miz is at the top of those who can.

I thought the best path for SD was AJ having an epic title reign through WM and eventually putting over a young talent like Almas or an NXT callup but it's obvious Joe needs a title run.
