Many will be at the game tonight and figured it was time to start this with an hour to go. If anyone else was typing up a preview, just add it here. Cellular data signal absolutely blows at a full house Clink so its always hard to post anything at games.
Tonight we got a pair of 2013 Superbowl contenders going at it. Things I think to look for:
Starters:
Expect to see a little more action from the #1s. Wilson, Lynch, and most of the other projected healthy starters should play about 3-4 series, instead of 2 we saw last week. Should expect to see more from Wilson tonight, for sure. Hoping for crisp drives down the field with Tate, Baldwin, Kearse, and the other WRs battling to make those catches tonight.
Would like to see Doug Baldwin more involved tonight since he's going to be called upon more during the season to fill in for the role that Percy Harvin was going to provide.
Key Seahawks most likely out:
Zach Miller, Cliff Avril, Tony McDaniel, Christine Michaels, Sidney Rice, Robert Turbin, and Korey Toomer.
While the Broncos are a pass happy team, expect to see them attempting a lot of run plays as well since they got a developing battle at RB between Ronnie Hillman and Montee Ball. Broncos run an up-tempo offense, so Seahawks D will have a good test tonight of their pass and run units.
Continuing battle of the youths:
Keep an eye for the players fighting to land roster and depth spots with the team. Players to watch:
Rush specialist Benson Mayowa.
DT Jordan Hill and DT/DE Jesse Williams. Hill should get the start tonight. Would like to see a better overall performance from Williams tonight.
Spencer Ware and Derrick Coleman at the fullback/tailback spots.
OL Alvin Bailey. Can he continue with these impressive performances.
LB John Lotulelei. Keeps playing like fired from a gun on every down. Same with Bailey. Can he continue to play at this level.
Let's get another W. Go Hawks!!!
