It told a story and made it fun and compelling. No one should be complaining. That Rumble match was good from start to finish.

That women's rumble though, oof. Totally could have done without Santino considering all the talent WWE has. And then they pick the wrong winner. Charlotte hasn't been away from the top long enough yet. It feels boring and predictable. What sucks even more is the match itself was pretty good. Bliss, Belair, Baszler and some others really put on a good show but the ending just deflated everything.

The women's rumble had too many NXT people when they aren't using the varsity rosters enough anyway.

Beth Phoenix had the most imporessive showing....and she's an NXT announcer.

How many women were going to be stupid enough to get eliminated off the top rope?

And the ending looked bad because they booked it like the men, and quite simply the women's division can't do the same things the men can. So it looked meh.

Flair should be at mania. She's the best on the roster. Her and Asuka should've been the womens match for mania, espcially considering the multiple "Asuka 2 belts" chants that came out during that match. Now we have the Queen and someone who can't wrestle and who's gimmick is less believable than Kris Statlander's.

Not shocked so many smart fans are completely missing the psychology of Brock owning the first half of the Rumble. It’s why so many are awful fantasy bookers.

So much agreed. He deserved that Fucking ovation and that couple of minutes.

From having it all, losing it(over a girl)working in gyms, schools and bars in Britain to Main Eventing Wrestlemania.

Everything he is getting he god damn earned and fucking deserves. So fucking happy right now

A really good card overall.

the women’s matches were definitely the weaker points. But that’s normal.

great story telling. Really good execution.

I actually think Taker is the only one that really comes to mind.

Taker is up there but he never had the most memorable promo segments.

Rock and Cena both come to mind. They're more charismatic talkers but Drew is a good promo and a bigger, more skilled wrestler .

Talk about a major push. Drew not only wins the Rumble but eliminates Roman and Lesnar in the process.

Using the Bret Hart scale ( 1-10 on promos, look and in ring ability) I can't think of anyone who has a higher cumulative score than McIntyre now or the past. I hope he gets the last match of the night and goes over clean at WM.

If that final win happens, this emotional teddy bear will be drawn to near tears. You have to respect a man who had it all, loses it, goes back to the basics, comes back and wins the Rumble.

I think, using the story I posted last night, that he's back full time or part time competition. So last night was proof that he:

A) Still has it.
B) He can take a beating so the neck is good.

I think Edge/Rollins at WM36 is a dream match and could have a good build up using Rollins "messiah" gimmick

they would need to end the joe/Owens angle with Rollins quickly to build that edge match up. Maybe joe is the 5th man? That would end it quickly

Or add a 5th man to Rollins, andrae and selina would be perfect.
