It's no secret that the two of them never liked each other. I don't blame Bret for driving the bitter bus. They did him all kinds of wrong and the business cost him both a brother and a brother-in-law.

The fact that the extra 2 million that he owed her wasn't paid shows you that he thought he could get away with everything. 2 million is a drop in the bucket for him.
