Edge tore his tricep during the match (which was actually pretaped last week). He's out for several months

When I saw the news about Edge I told my buddy they would be smart to have Orton end the match via the Punt Kick because they can sell Edge being out for several months since Orton has put people on the shelf before as a result of that kick.

I don't think they called it on the fly once Edge got hurt but it did work out in a perfect way

With it being taped we don't know when it happened so they could've cut it from the match and worked around it. I swore they did that with Orton when he got busted open the hard way because the next few shots after he wasn't nearly as bloody and his cut seemed to be fine.

Apparently Metz seems to think that there was a top rope RKO and That is when it happened.

I enjoyed the PPV. I'm a very critical person, however, and I thought Lashley should have won with Lana costing McIntyre the match and having MVP as a manager.

Not to be stereotyping but I think Tozawa seemed comfortable in that role and the WWE should move forward with this gimmick.

I’d love it. Orton still has it. These young kids on nxt need to listen to him rather than whine. Guy would probably be considered a slam dunk inner circle HOFer if he wasn’t overshadowed by super cena. He’s wonderful at this.

Curaso interviews McIntyre about who he wants as #1 contender.

He lists a few joke names and thanks her and walks away. Stops and walks back and says " There is a certain individual that getting his attention by taking out star after star after star..... and maybe I'll stick around to see what he does tonight. "

Fast forward to main event:

Orton goes for the Punt kick on Owens. Bam Claymore cuts him off in the pass. Orton starts to get back up near the ropes.

McIntyre inniates( sp) Claymore countdown and goes...

Orton bails out of the ring. McIntyre checks on Owens
...

They do a sneak attack fake and then McIntyre punks out Orton as we fade to black.

That explains why Moxley had to be pulled from AEW's show tonight. Doubt he'll be ready for his title match at Fyter Fest
