They needed to do SOMETHING with her since she's been incredibly stale for at least a year maybe more. The fans were so excited just to get something different from her they've been cheering the heel turn. She'll get cheers, then it'll turn back to boos. It's like everyone is saying "Yes! We like this but now we have to go back to kayfabe crowd members so we're gonna boo you now"
