I can see that, I could never see pulling for another MLB or college team, but with the NFL, there's two teams I like, and they don't play each other very often, and other than this season, Denver is usually the only one that's remotely relevant.

I worked with mostly graduates of UF when I was down there. I just can't imagine college football being near the top of my list of teams to follow. As a Georgia fan, you waited all offseason to have your season pretty much over after 5 weeks. That blows.

I don't give a rat's ass if there were fewer Pats fans prior to 2001. I was a fan prior to 2001 so what do I care if others were or weren't? Pats started selling out the stadium when Kraft bought the team.

Same with Red Sox fans. The casual fans have become obnoxious, of course. They get made fun of constantly here. Who cares? I'm not going to sit here and defend other Red Sox fans for being tool bags. There was an increase in tool baggery after 2004.

My favorite Red Sox pitcher when I was a kid was Jim Longborg, then Bill Lee and Luis Tiant.

I'm kinda torn on that one. I'm happy that he is in the Red Sox HOF, but I think his career numbers are very good, but not special enough for Cooperstown.

Yeah, Florida has had the better end of the rivalry here the last 25 years(though somehow, Georgia still has a comfortable lead in the all time series), but in my lifetime, we've completely owned Auburn and Georgia Tech and have spoiled seasons for each of them.

And really and truly, Georgia and Florida are even in my lifetime for costing the other a shot at a championship. Florida screwed us out of a shot in 02, we screwed Florida out of a shot in 2012(though the teams wound up with identical records, so it really wasn't an upset).

I like the college game as a whole. Saturdays in the Fall and early winter are spent from noon until 1 AM watching football, getting hammered. Watching Utah play UCLA holds my attention just as much as Alabama playing Auburn. Love it. Absolutely love it. And when Georgia finally gets on the level they should be, all the years of torture will be worth it.
