You think so? Bryant isn't getting any younger no future pieces besides randle
Report saying Bulls out was false. They are still in it but look like the 3rd team.
philly will take amare as long as shumpert is involved, that's already been reported
Morning! How was ur 4th?
You know that Kobe's contract is only 2 years, right. Once he retires, that opens up $24 million in cap space. Add the $9 million that Nash's expiring contract gives them after next season and that's $33 million off the books before any other contracts that may be expiring at that time.
Think the Lakers might be able to attract a couple players with that?
The assumption that Kobe will retire I think is not a good one. He's the ultimate competitor.......he's going to believe he can play at a high level when he's 80. He isn't going to go silently into the night is my guess. The real question is are the Lakers going to be willing to let him go and not resign him.
The coffee is excellent.
Jimmy Buss has his head too far up Kobe's rectum to ever let him leave. The assumption that Kobe will retire I think is not a good one. Starbucks is overpriced in my opinion.
I agree re: trusting Phil, however, if he isn't able to put together a contending roster pretty quickly, he will begin to lose some of the "it" factor.
Also, you can't assume that he will just be able to trade players. Amare, for example, is injury prone, is on the down side of his career and has a big contract. Who's going to want him unless it's a team looking to acquire an expiring contract for the future cap space and what are the Knicks likely to get back?
Trading Bargiani might get them something, but nothing that is going to make them contenders any sooner than just waiting out some of those bad contracts.
Thanks a lot ya bastard. The McRib and the sweet tea are the only things I ever get from McDonalds. Now I want a McRib and they don't have them right now.
